This is a working record of the control system I'm building for my model railway, and ofWestgate Hollow Yard, the small OO gauge test layout it's being proven on. It's written mainly for me: what I did, when, and why I made each decision.

Westgate Hollow is a stepping stone. It exists to verify the control system, to try out scenic techniques, and for general practice before I build a larger full-room layout.

The log tracks progress. The projects pages describe each part of the system. The decisions record the design choices and the reasoning behind them.
